Job Description Superintendent – Commercial Construction | $125K–$150K | Huntsville, AL A leading commercial construction firm with a strong reputation across the Southeast is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join their team in Huntsville, Alabama . This is a key field leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. The Superintendent will be responsible for the day-to-day field operations on large-scale commercial projects ranging from $20 million to $50 million. This individual will oversee all on-site activities, ensuring adherence to safety, schedule, and quality standards, while maintaining strong communication with project managers, subcontractors, and clients. Key Responsibilities Direct and manage all field operations, including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and daily site supervision. Ensure jobsite safety, quality control, and compliance with all company and regulatory standards. Maintain project schedules and proactively address potential delays or issues. Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Owners, and Architects to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Lead and mentor field teams, promoting a positive and productive work environment. Conduct regular site meetings and document progress reports. Oversee subcontractor performance and enforce project specifications. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction . Proven experience managing projects in the $20–$50 million range . Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple trades and teams. In-depth understanding of construction scheduling, sequencing, and site logistics. Commitment to safety, quality, and project excellence. Proficiency with construction management software and digital documentation tools. Compensation Base Salary: $125,000–$150,000 (based on experience) Bonuses: Annual performance-based bonuses Benefits: Full benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off
