About WAFF: WAFF is the dominant station in the Tennessee Valley both on-air and on-line. We cover breaking news and weather all with a heart for the community. Job Summary/Description: WAFF needs an enterprising reporter who loves telling stories. We want reporters who want to turn lead stories. Ideal candidate must cultivate sources. MMJ must be able to shoot, write and edit 2 packages per day. Able to work any shift as needed. Must be able to turn a digital story on daily stories. Engaged with social media. Solid knowledge of legal and ethical issues impacting journalism.
