Easy Apply now by clicking the "Apply" button and sending us your resume.Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per yearA bit about us:Position Summary: The successful candidate for the Financial Accountant role should demonstrate a deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and possess robust financial analysis capabilities. Strong proficiency in Excel, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently are also essential. In addition to supporting financial reporting, planning, and analysis at the site, this individual will oversee day-to-day processes for AP, AR, CAPEX, and cash management, and step in to handle transaction processing as needed. This position places significant emphasis on analytical prowess and experience in extracting meaningful insights from data to aid in management decision-making, financial reporting, and assessing business performance metrics.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of all required finance/accounting data.
• Execute precise month-end financial closing procedures, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and standard corporate reporting.
• Address financial queries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data.
• Maintain and reconcile precise balance sheets and general ledger accounts to meet audit and SOX requirements.
• Assist in preparations for the annual audit.
• Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and instances of non-compliance.
• Manage fixed assets, including capital budgeting, additions, disposals, and depreciation tracking.
• Assist in the compilation of quarterly and annual statements by collating relevant data.
• Collaborate with Corporate Tax for the preparation of federal, state, local, and special tax returns and questionnaires. This includes studying regulations, adhering to requirements, and providing management with necessary guidance.
• Contribute to the development of new or revised accounting systems, programs, and procedures.

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is mandatory.
    • CPA certification or CPA candidacy is highly preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.Qualifications:
      • Proficiency in industry-specific software, with SAP as a requirement and HFM as a bonus.
      • In-depth knowledge of GAAP.
      • Previous experience within the Aerospace & Defense industry is advantageous.
      • Demonstrated ability as a highly productive self-starter with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
      • Previous exposure to US tax processes.
      • Robust financial analysis skills.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
      • Strong organizational skills.
