Our RRT Staff enjoy a robust benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), flexible scheduling, *100% licensure/certification reimbursement, Tuition Reimbursement, and up to $10K for student loan payments. **Requirements: ** *NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) as long as you are RRT eligible and actively pursuing registry.** *Current license by the Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy (ASBRT) ** *At least one year of clinical experience in respiratory care.** *Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) & Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certifications**About the Job:** Under the direction of Physicians and and Respiratory Director, perform all respiratory procedures in accordance with NBRC, State Regulations, and departmental policies.* Recommend and implement appropriate respiratory care procedures and protocols based on observed abnormalities.* Provides respiratory care to patients in acute, chronic, and emergency situations. Manages mechanical ventilation and artificial airways in critical and ghttps://www.chs.net/serving-communities/locations/#USMapeneral care areas.* Collects and analyzes arterial blood gases as well as administers aerosolized medications and other respiratory treatments.* Initiates, monitors and manages patients oxygen through various devices including high flow nasal cannula and non-invasive positive pressure ventilation.* Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.*We know its not just about finding a job.
